Alviso Adobe Gardening Collective

Session 1: September 24 – October 31
Session 2: November 4 – December 19

The Alviso Adobe Gardening Collective, located at Pleasanton's historic Alviso Adobe Community Park, is a collaborative initiative with the City of Pleasanton designed to cultivate inclusive connections. This program creates a hands-on, sensory-rich outdoor sanctuary where local youth and families of all abilities can engage with nature and one another. By removing barriers to participation, we are fostering a nurturing environment for education, growth, and community bonding. It is more than just planting seeds; it is about rooting our families in a shared, accessible space where every child is welcome to thrive.

At the Alviso Adobe Gardening Collective, we focus on individual growth within a supportive group setting. Whether it's mastering a new skill or simply enjoying the company of peers, every moment is crafted to be inclusive and sensory-aware.

Our Movie Nights are a cornerstone of The Crow's Nest, designed to foster a supportive and inclusive environment for local youth and their families. Hosted in the heart of Pleasanton, these events go beyond simple screenings; they offer a sensory-friendly, welcoming space where every child, regardless of their needs, can feel at home. By blending popular entertainment and a fun accessible craft with community connection, we create a low-pressure setting for families to bond and build lasting friendships. It is all about accessibility, joy, and ensuring that no family feels sidelined, turning a simple evening at the movies into a meaningful community experience.
